A good bodybuilding diet needs to follow 3 rules:

1. Eat smaller portions frequently throughout the day.
2. Every meal should have carbohydrates, protein, and fat in the correct ratios: 40% carbs, 40% protein, 20 % good fats.
3. The calories should be cycled to prevent the metabolism from getting used to a certain caloric level.

  • Liquid Intake-Water is the most essential source of liquid for a body builder, as exercise tends to deplete the body of its natural fluids. Drinking lots of water is essential for maintaining the energy level and maintaining coolness in the body.

  • Soybeans-They are rich in protein and subsequently low in fat. There is no amount of cholesterol in them, which makes them an ideal food for fitness freaks.
